How you can help
Support & Prayers
Whether or not you can be in Rome, you can accompany me with your prayer. If you would like to make a gift or donation to help cover some of the costs of ordination, you can check out the info below.
First and above all
Pray for me
I'm happy to receive any and all prayer that I can get! Below, I mention a few excellent ways to pray.
Offer a Communion
The next time you receive Communion, you might simply offer it for me — for my fidelity, and for that of the other priests with whom I will be ordained.
Pray a Rosary
Our Lady has a role in every priest's vocation! Help me to ask her intercession so that I can be a holy priest.
Ask St. Josemaría
Pray a prayer card (PDF, opens in new tab) to St. Josemaría Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei, asking him to intercede for the 15 men who will be ordained.
If you'd also like to help financially
How to give
Thank you for any financial contributions you might like to make towards my ordination! Of course, I'm grateful for cards or other personal touches (such as an invitation to a gelato in Rome!), but financial contributions are typically more versatile than other physical gifts. In particular, the centers of Opus Dei where I will often exercise my ministry are already equipped with necessary liturgical objects, so religious gifts are usually not necessary.
After the ordination I will usually wear a clergyman's collar or a cassock, so that anyone who sees me knows a priest is available. There are also costs tied to using the Basilica and to a live video transmission of the ordination so that those who can't travel can still watch. The total costs for the wardrobe change and ordination ceremony are about $4,500. Contributions to help offset these costs are welcome via PayPal or Zelle. If you'd rather use a bank transfer to an Italian or American bank account, email me and I will get back to you with the details.
Give via PayPal (opens in new tab)
Or by Zelle, to jpawlick4@gmail.com.
Thank you — for your prayers most of all, and for anything else you're able to offer.
